Description

Just a suite of tools. Currently included:

  • Text-Finder: Search and replace text in files
  • File-Finder: Search for files and directories
  • Copy: Copy directories and files (via CLI, UI or Explorer extension)
  • Delete: Delete directories and files (via CLI, UI or Explorer extension)

All features are designed for performance.

Binaries for the tool can be found at Chocolatey or GitHub.

If you are using my little tool and encounter any issues or have ideas for improvements feel free to provide feedback.

Installation

To install simply call choco install Batzendev.Tools (given you have Chocolatey installed).

To install Chocolatey you can use

Set-ExecutionPolicy Bypass -Scope Process -Force; [System.Net.ServicePointManager]::SecurityProtocol = [System.Net.ServicePointManager]::SecurityProtocol -bor 3072; iex ((New-Object System.Net.WebClient).DownloadString('https://community.chocolatey.org/install.ps1'))

from an admnistrative PowerShell console.

Remarks

None of the features uses any kind of caching or indexing.
